Preparation
Add 1/4 measure of water to 1 portion of measured mix and mix
gently to a smooth lump free dough. Set aside for 5-7 minutes.
Make small balls (for 200g mix - 45-50 balls), deep fry in
Dalda/ Ghee in flame, until deep golden brown and drop the
same in the sugar syrup. Soak till the jamun absorbs the sugar
syrup (3-4 hrs) completely ans serve.
Sugar Syrup: Measure 800g of sugar (for 200g Jamun mix) and
mix with equal quantities of water, boil for 15 minutes. Add
rose essence or cardamom powder if desired.
To make 50 jamuns of 20g each after soaking in sugar syrup
